The Mumbai Zomi Christian Fellowship (MZCF) is an inter-denominational fellowship of students and families from Manipur and other North-eastern states, hailing from different communities and languages. Started on 25th July 1993, the Fellowship has grown by leaps and bounds in terms of membership as well as mission work.
The Fellowship worships every Sunday at the All Saints' Church near Hanging Garden in Malabar Hill (south Mumbai). Though the members come from different Churches and denominations, the Fellowship itself is non-denominational and not affiliated to any particular Church or Church groups. Our Fellowship supports missionaries working in different fields in India. We currently support missionaries from the following Christian organizations:
* Indian Evangelical Mission(IEM), Bangalore, Karnataka - Arunachal Pradesh Mission Field;
* Friends Missionary Prayer Band(FMPB),Chennai, Tamil Nadu- Gujarat Mission Field;
* Here Am I Ministries (HIM), Guwahati, Assam Mission Field
* North East Center for Training and Research (NECTAR), Shillong, Meghalaya - Missionary Training;
* Frontier Mission Society (FMS), Churachandpur, Manipur - Burmese mission field;
* Bombay Diocesan Council, Mumbai, Maharashtra- Mumbai mission field;
* World Vision India(Child sponsorship)-Vishakapatnam Area Development Project, Andhra Pradesh;
* Maharashtra Village Ministry, Mumbai, India, and
* Gilead Evangelical Theological Seminary (GETS), Bangalore, India.
Our Fellowship also supports other noble causes espoused by organizations like the Bible Society of India (BSI), and various other Church organizations from time to time. |
